HydRocks®
In horticulture applications, HydRocks®offers superior solutions to many of today's horticulture problems. HydRocks®is an absorptive, inert granule used to enhance a variety of soil conditions. HydRocks®particles are completely inorganic and can be blended with other soil supplements. HydRocks®will not compress, decompose, or react with agricultural or horticultural chemicals. This fully calcined material is predictable, consistent, and stable over time.
Advantages of HydRocks®include:
- Particles absorb and hold moisture and nutrients for release when needed
- As the surrounding soil dries, HydRocks particles release stored water and nutrients to the root system
- High compressive strength - will not compress or crush under normal conditions
- Lightweight and easy to mix and work with
- Contains voids for additional surface area for fine feeder roots
- Prevents soil compaction, providing superior drainage and air space system essential to healthy plant growth
